McCleese to head Junior Achievement

Lori McCleese has been named president of the newly-merged Junior Achievement of East Central Ohio and Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio.

The newly consolidated chapter will named Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio and be based in North Canton.

McCleese, formerly the president of the Hudson Community Foundation, will manage the program’s work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy programs that currently reach 37,000 kindergarten through grade 12 students in the 15-county chapter area.

“We are excited about the appointment of Lori,” Brian Steere, chairman of the Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio Board of Directors, said in a news release. “We believe Lori’s diverse professional background as well as her enthusiasm and proven community leadership will help move the JA mission forward in the communities we serve.”
